1: Venice

Venice is one of the most popular cities situated in the north of Italy. It's called "The city of lovers" because there are a lot of typical places and monuments.

You can find, for example:     

- The gondola: It's famous and typical of Venice. A gandola is a boat with a particular shape. A gandola sails on the canals.

- The Bridge of Sighs: It is one of the most famous tourist monuments in the city. In the past,this bridge was the way to take prisoners from the prison to the Doges Palace. That's why it is called "The Bridge of Sighs". But today it's also the Bridge of Lovers (The lovers sighs). Lots of lovers take a picture in front of this monument.

-The St Marc's Square: The St Marc's Square is located at the edge if the big canal. In this place,we can find the St Marc Basilic and the Doges' Palace. Lovers can have an aperitif at sunset on this beautiful square.

2: Florence

Situated in the north of Italy, Florence is the 8th city of the country (regarding the number of inhabitants). It is particularly famous for having an exeptional artistic wealth. A lot of couples go there for its enchanting and romantic atmosphere.

You can find,for example:

-The Vecchio Bridge: It's the oldest and the most famous bridge in Florence.On this bridge,there are pedestrian streets and a lot of luxurious stores.Perfect for a romantic walk!

-The Boboli Gardens:The Boboli gardens are a historical park situated next to the Pitti palace.Lovers can come and see the panoramic view in these gardens,overlooking the city.

3. Amsterdam

Amsterdam is the most populated town and the capital of the Netherlands. It's good for romantic walks on the canals at sunset.

you can find, for example:

-The Jordaan district... It's the most charming and pleasant district in Amsterdam.

-The Vondel park is dedicated to painting and music lovers.

4. Lisbon

Lisbon is the largest city in Portugal with its cobblestone streets and its pastel houses. It's located in the southwest. You can do romantic walks in the Tage at sunset.

you can find for example:

-The Alfama district, it is the oldest district of Lisbon.

-The Estrela garden is a romantic park of the 19th century.

In this city, there are lot of romantic monuments like Sao Jorge castel and Jernimos monastery.

5:Paris 

Paris is a romantic city because of the many possible walks by the Seine river,  at sunset,

The Eiffel Tower lights, many romantic restaurants , without forgetting

the Bridge of Arts , which develops a poetic and romantic atmosphere

You can find for example: 

-The hill of Montmartre : it's in the 18th area of Paris. The lovers can sit on its stairs to see the beautiful view.

-The Bridge of Arts : it's  the bridge which crosses the Seine river in the center of Paris, which symbolizes love.

- The Eiffel Tower  : it's one of the most famous monuments in the world, at night you can admire the lights.At the top of the tower you can see the city  panoramic.
