How is Disney inspired by different European places ?
Germany :
1 - Sleeping beauty – The Castle of «Sleeping Beauty» looks like the Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany thanks to the tower and the architecture of the castle.
Estonia
2 - Frozen - The church of «Frozen» looks like the church of Saint Olaf in Estonia dedicated to Olaf II, the first Soverein baptized in Norway. It was considered as the biggest monument (159m) until its spire fell because of a tremendous lightning in 1625.
Scotland :
3 - Brave - The castle of «Brave» is approximately the same of the Eilean Donan castle in Scotland, it's a fortified castle.
France :
4 - Beauty and the beast – The village of «The beauty and the beast » has similarities with Alsatien villages. The houses are similar to the ones in the village, and the framework is the same.
5 - The Hunchback of Notre Dame – In this cartoon there is the catedral of Notre Dame, is exactly the same in the reality. It's a monument of Paris.
6 – Tangled – The castle in Tangled looks like the Mont Saint Michel in France.
